Graffiti in Restaurants

After visiting restaurants such as The Boiling Crab (pictured above), and Woodstock's Pizza, I am always amazed by the amount of graffiti on the walls, benches, and tables. Personally, I feel that the little messages and quotes written by people give the restaurants a sense of uniqueness and personality, as well as showcasing the restaurant's popularity. However, the amount of graffiti on the walls could be considered controversial, as it may encourage customers to graffiti and portray the notion that graffiti is acceptable in public places. For example, if a parent were to enter Woodstock's Pizza with their young child, and the child were to begin to draw on the walls, should the parent stop them? If the parent doesn't stop them, what are they teaching their young child? What do you think?
