In trend of promoting healthy body images for women of all ages, Loryn Brantz edited six Disney princesses to have correct proportions around the waist. Barbie isn't the only culprit of sporting a crazy teensy waist. Disney is evidently a leading figure on influencing young children. The princesses Brantz edited include Ariel, Pocahontas, Jasmine, Belle, Aurora, and Elsa. This collection of princesses range from Disney classics to fresh off the screen. I found that the most disproportionate waistlines were found on the older princesses. Has Disney been slowly correcting their unrealistic proportions over the years or are they just as bad now as they were twenty years ago? Were you to see the correct proportion princess images without their comparison, would you even notice if something was different?
