Mark Meechan, a youtube creator was found guilty after recording a video of his girlfriend’s dog doing Nazi salutes. Creating content on youtube can be seen as a form of entertainment and art, but instead Mark was charged with a hate crime. His goal was only to turn the dog into the least loveable dog a neo-Nazi as a practical joke to his girlfriend. Instead a simple joke was taken out of context and now he is facing prosecution.
